Paul received a Jack Petchy Leaders award this year for, amongst other things, writing the Tuke Song, and devising & producing whole school events. Thank you Paul we really appreciate your hard work and creativity. Students were also proud to receive awards this year went to Mohamed, Ogechi and Ali.
We are very proud that Jack and Tina ran for the National Autistic Society and Make a wish foundation in the London Marathon this summer. Their times of 4hrs 36mins and 5hrs 11mins were a testament to their diligent training and fitness.

A mixed Sixth form group performed as buskers this morning – serenading us with their lovely voices and making a bit of cash too.
We’re still hungry for pancakes here at Tuke and it’s a great way to get our students developing their lifeskills, using a kitchen and enjoying a tasty treat as a reward for their hard work.

We’ve had an amazing time with Access Sport learning how to ride a whole variety of bicycles on the flat, over ramps and on the BMX track at Burgess Park BMX track.

We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book day we read books, told stories, dressed up & topped it all off with a fabulous cat walk show.
Students have been visiting a local café to enjoy snacks and meals as part of their community links topic. Making purchases, using their numeracy skills, choosing their favourite meals or snacks and travelling with support to and from the café. Anyone for Beans on Toast?
Students from the Sixth Form took part in creating Art sensations at the South London Gallery last term – they miss the sessions with the lovely team and did really well working in new spaces & environments.
